BOSSIER CITY, La. (KSLA) – Louisiana State Police is issuing a reminder to drivers that 18-wheelers are not allowed on I-20 in the construction zone in Bossier City. LSP says as the major construction continues, it’s critical to maintain momentum on the project. Wrecks involving 18-wheelers in particular delay construction significantly. To avoid these delays, Louisiana Revised Statute 32:237 went into effect back in December of 2023; it prohibits 18-wheelers from traveling through the I-20 construction zone in Bossier City.
