SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – Welcome to the weekend! We have finally escaped the rain showers that have been battering us all week! Here in Shreveport, we experienced over 7 inches of rainfall combined from all of the systems that moved through this past week and even more than that in some portions of east Texas. Now, we welcome more sunshine and calmer conditions back into the region!
