A Louisiana woman was arrested after she allegedly purposely crashed into her husband’s car, according to a local report.
Maria Loera, 42, was taken into custody early Sunday morning after deputies responded to the domestic disturbance, according to the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office, as cited by local station WAFB.
After a fight over his phone, which took place in one car, Loera allegedly got into her own car and rammed the car her husband was in head-on. There was also another person in the car that was rammed, WAFB reported.
No one was hurt in the alleged incident.
The suspect allegedly admitted she had been drinking alcohol before the incident, the station reported.
Loera was arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Jail on suspicion of reckless operation of a vehicle and domestic abuse aggravated assault.
