Plentiful Gulf moisture is currently streaming into the ArkLaTex on the heels of a strong southerly surface flow. Clouds will be on the increase. It appears likely that highs today will respond to the Gulf flow with afternoon highs in the low 60s north to near 70° along I-20 and south. Our main weather maker will be a quite potent upper low-pressure system with an attendant front that will head our way across the Texas panhandle later today.
