SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – A man speeding down Interstate 49 while going the wrong way collided with a large box truck near Kings Highway. On Feb. 2, around 11:24 p.m., the Shreveport Police Department (SPD) responded to a major traffic accident on I-49 near Mall St. Vincent and Kings Highway. When officers arrived, they discovered that a man was driving a four-door sedan the wrong way, southbound in the northbound lanes on I-49 at a high rate of speed. As the vehicle sped down I-49, they had a head-on collision with a large box truck.
