SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – For Black History Month, KSLA is honoring Dr. Regina Web, Caddo Parish’s tax assessor. On November 18, 2023, Dr. Regina Webb, a Shreveport native, broke barriers to become the first woman and African American to be elected Caddo Parish Tax Assessor. Having been previously employed with the city of Shreveport, where she supervised the accounting department for the Department of Community Development.
