SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – Gov. Jeff Landry will join the LaDOTD at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20 for a groundbreaking ceremony for the Jimmie Davis Bridge Project. The ceremony is meant to celebrate the official start of construction on the new bridge. Officials say the $360 million project will double the capacity of the roadway and river crossing.
