SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – The Shreveport Police Department has arrested a man accused in a violent domestic incident. SPD says back on May 4 just after midnight, officers responded to an incident involving John Russ, 37. When officers got to the scene, they learned Russ had grabbed the female victim by the back of her head, pushed her into the corner of a dresser, and choked her until she passed out. This was all done in front of two children under 13, police say.
