It has been well over a month since we received any significant rainfall here in Northwest Louisiana and that brings it’s own set of complications for the area. With low humidity, drier conditions and the breezy afternoons we’ve experienced of late, Bossier Parish, Claiborne Parish and Red River Parish have all joined Caddo Parish in declaring official burn bans for the area, formally outlawing any outdoor burning until parish officials deem conditions safe enough to withdraw the bans.
