FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY for Severe Storms

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – Today is a FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY as we are expecting widespread scattered severe thunderstorms to push through the ArkLaTex mainly this afternoon and early evening. Severe storms could be triggered as early as 11am and should leave the region by 11pm tonight. The bulk of the system will be in the region between 2pm-7pm. We are expecting most severe weather threats today including heavy rainfall, large hail, strong wind gusts, and even a small chance at isolated tornadoes. Stay weather aware with us! High temperatures get into the mid to upper 60′s mostly with a few of us even looking to get up above 70 degrees. Morning low temperatures start off in the 50′s.
