Shelters need your help as feels-like temperatures drop into teens at night

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – With wind chills in the teens expected, KSLA News 12 wants to help those in need of shelter before the temperatures drop. Hope Connections is opening its shelter for as many people without homes as they can help. But they still need your help. Hope Connections is asking you to drop off any of multiple items – including blankets, jackets, snacks and hand sanitizer – to its location on Levy Street.
