If you’re looking for space with high ceilings in an old building in an even older part of Shreveport, two options came up for lease this week.

One is a 1,300-square-foot space, the other, which boasts an open 664-square-foot mezzanine and measures 1,876 square feet in all. Both are in buildings in the 400 block of Lake Street in downtown Shreveport.

That they are available at all was a shock to the building’s owners. Good Granoly had been in the smaller space since it was renovated in 2017. The granola and sweets manufacturer had been in business for ten years when it announced in late 2024 that it was closing…
