A Caddo Commissioner apologized to Shreveport Police officers for his remarks referring to them as “fools” and requested enforcement against trespassers in vacant structures that lead to fires.
At the Shreveport City Council’s Monday administrative meeting, Commissioner John-Paul Young issued an apology to police officers, retracting his previous statements that labeled them as “fools” for not identifying probable cause when responding to complaints on vagrants in vacant houses at a prior Caddo Commission meeting.
