Warmer & cloudy for Friday

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – Mostly cloudy skies are in store throughout the ArkLaTex for most of the day. We should not see much rain at all throughout any of this cloud cover though. High temperatures will warm up into the upper 70′s for the afternoon after starting the morning in the upper 40′s and lower 50′s.

Rain is looking to infiltrate the region for the weekend. We have a couple rounds of isolated storms coming on through mostly on Saturday in the afternoon. A few stray showers though are possible for Saturday and Sunday morning. If there’s a time to pick to get around the town, it would be with sunshine coming back just in time for Sunday afternoon. High temperatures plummet with high’s on Saturday going down into the low to mid 60′s and high’s on Sunday only reaching into the low to mid 50′s.

Sunshine continues to roll through the ArkLaTex for the start to next week. It appears our next system of rain comes around Wednesday or Thursday morning of next week before dry conditions follow to end next work week and hopefully continue into the following weekend. High temperatures quickly increase back into the low 70′s for Monday before increasing throughout the entire work week. Towards the end of next work week, high’s look to be all the way into the upper 70′s and lower 80′s…
