SHREVEPORT, La. — A Captain Shreve High School student was arrested Thursday with a gun on campus, the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office said.
The 15-year-old is charged with illegal possession of a firearm in a gun-free zone and illegal possession of a handgun by a juvenile.
The sheriff’s office said the school resource officer was alerted to the situation by an assistant principal who got a tip the student was seen with the gun. The SRO and assistant principal located the student without incident and found the handgun in his possession…
