Mail May Soon Arrive Faster for Shreveport Locals

The United States Postal Service has announced some major changes that could change mail delivery in Shreveport both for the better and worse. Major changes coming to the USPS could mean some of Shreveport’s mail could be way faster, while others may end up experiencing shipping delays.

Even though the USPS has seen a steady decline in retail customers since 2015, losing over 254 million retail customers in that time, over 666 million retail customers still use the services provided by their tax dollars in the form of the USPS. It’s no different in Shreveport, with nine USPS offices spread across the city.
