During April each year, it’s common to hear the term or see signs for “Give for Good” in Shreveport and Bossier. But what is it and how can you be a part?
Give for Good makes it easy to donate to north Louisiana nonprofits during a specified time period using only one website. There are 232 participating nonprofit organizations this year and the dates are April 22 for early giving through May 6, Give for Good day.
Nonprofit services range from social services to education to health care to the arts and more. You can search for specific organizations or for causes that matter to you before early giving begins.
Give for Good is sponsored by the Community Foundation of North Louisiana. CFNLA hosts the online giving website and manages the distribution of funds, but does not receive any proceeds from the event. All donations during the Give for Good time period will be charged on May 6…
