SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – Welcome to the weekend! Most of the area will remain dry through today; however, there will be some who experience strong to severe storms this afternoon and evening. A batch of storms is forecast to enter from the northwest and meander across areas north of I-30 late this afternoon into the evening. These storms could become strong to severe at times, bringing the threat for hail, damaging winds, flash flooding, and a low chance for isolated tornadoes. Most, if not all, of the storms should move out by around 2-3am. Highs will reach the mid and upper 80s this afternoon.
We may start out foggy by tomorrow morning before it all lifts by sunrise. Lows will be in the 60s before temperatures rise to the mid and upper 80s, with a few spots hitting the lower 90s! Sunday should remain mostly dry and slightly humid through the day…
