Shreveport business wants SWEPCO to come clean with outages, not apologize

“An apology is not going to make me feel better,” said Blake Jackson, the owner of two Shreveport restaurants that lost power Saturday afternoon.

Employees prepping for a busy evening at Jackson’s Mae & Co and Heron restaurants were plunged into darkness at around 4 p.m.

Jackson said the four other restaurants, along with the ice cream and coffee shops in the Provenance retail center, were forced to shut down, as were hundreds of others in Shreveport, and Caddo, Bossier and Webster parishes…
