CADDO PARISH, La. (KSLA) – Crews with the National Weather Service (NWS) were out Wednesday, May 7 surveying possible tornado damage after severe storms moved through the area the previous day.
According to the NWS, trees were snapped along Woolworth Road south of Walnut Hill Elementary/Middle School near the entrance to the Caddo Parish landfill. The storm moved through this area around 3:40 p.m. Tuesday.
The storms brought torrential rain to the area, causing widespread street flooding. Reports of hail were also received throughout the area. There was at least one report of a tree that fell on a home in Keithville…
