Biscuits gone wild, grilled cheese and more at new food trucks in Shreveport, Bossier City

Shreveport and Bossier have two new tasty food trucks and one favorite back in circulation.

See where to find them from week to week and remember you can schedule them for events.

The Brit Bakehouse

The Brit Bakehouse specializes in British baked sourdough goods and recently introduced a food truck selling grilled cheese sandwiches on their sourdough bread. You can build-your-own sandwich with bacon, eggs, brisket, or jalapeƱos added.

The handmade bread has just three traditional ingredients: flour, water, and salt. Alongside a sandwich you can purchase homemade roasted tomato soup or homemade chicken soup at the food truck.

You can order sourdough loaves and other baked goods like Ted Lasso biscuits and cookies through their pickup and delivery service.

Look for the weekly food truck schedule on their Facebook page.

Demented Dessert & Coffee

The Demented Dessert & Coffee is now serving Bossier and Shreveport. You can create-your-own-gourmet-donut with frostings and toppings, order hot and cold java, and find something to your liking from breakfast to dinner.

The baked goods menu has donuts, fritters, kolaches, danishes, and cinnamon rolls. The all day eats menu has an interesting selection of sweet and savory: The Brat is a bratwurst in a glazed twist donut, Biscuits Gone Wild are donut holes smothered in savory sausage gravy, The Heartstopper is a donut bacon cheeseburger, and the Grilled and Glazed is a grilled ham and cheese croissant.

They post their food truck location on their Facebook page.
