Shreveport native gets school in Ghana named in her honor

SHREVEPORT, La. – It’s 6,078 miles from Shreveport to Ghana, West Africa, but a longtime Shreveport resident has bridged the gap between the two very different places.

Mae Harley is a member of New Covenant Church of God in Shreveport, and now the children in a small village in Ghana will soon be going to a vocational school established in her honor.
