Federal grand jury indicts Lewis brothers in 2 robberies

SHREVEPORT, La. – Two brothers accused in connection with the death of a pharmaceutical drugs deliveryman in Shreveport earlier this year have been indicted in federal court in two store robberies – one of which happened during the homicide.

The indictment does not accuse Kelvin Terrell Lewis, 38, and Larry Dewayne Lewis, 44, in the homicide.

Both are charged in the federal indictments with two counts of robbery and one count of conspiracy to using, carrying, brandishing and discharging firearms during and in relation to a crime of violence, Acting U.S. Attorney Alexander Van Hook said Thursday in a news release…
