Severe weather threat returns to the ArkLaTex

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – Our severe weather threat will be ramping up over the next couple days and the heat & humidity will be sticking around.

For tonight, we could see a few storms develop near and north of the I-30 corridor. If storms form, they could turn strong to severe with hail and wind being the primary concern. Most of the ArkLaTex will stay dry and very muggy with overnight lows remaining in the mid 70s.

Friday will feature plenty of cloud cover throughout the day but it will stay hot and humid with highs in the low 90s and feels like temperatures near 100. Scattered storms could develop by early evening along the I-30 corridor and once again, some of these could turn severe with hail and wind…
