Less numerous storms around for Friday

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) –

We are expected to start out with a few stray showers mainly in the eastern half of the ArkLaTex for the morning hours with a round of scattered storms mainly hitting the southern half of the region in the afternoon. There should be no threat of severe weather brought with these storms today. High temperatures increase back up into the upper 80′s with a few localized areas reaching 90 degrees. The morning begins in the upper 60′s and lower 70′s.

Both days of Father’s Day weekend feature storms. We are expected to have isolated groups of storms roaming the region for Saturday afternoon & Sunday afternoon with both mornings looking fairly dry. These storms should bring no threat of severe weather. High temperatures stay mostly in the upper 80′s with a few lower 90′s possible in a few areas on both days.
