SHREVEPORT, La. – The Caddo Parish Commission has been working on adding two early voting sites to accommodate people who live in north Caddo and west Caddo Parish.
One thing that all the commissioners agreed on is that both north Caddo and west Caddo need early voting sites. The issue that caused some divide was when these areas would get the sites.
The debate started in Monday’s commission work session. On the table, a proposal from the public works committee for two additional early voting sites for the 2026 election cycle. But several commissioners didn’t want to wait till 2026 for the north Caddo site saying it had already been approved by the Secretary of State’s Office…
