Turning drier & hotter the next few days

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – Scattered storms will continue into the evening with a few of them having the potential to produce strong wind gusts, small hail and very heavy rainfall. Storms should quickly diminish around midnight with quiet conditions expected overnight. It will remain warm and muggy with lows in the 70s.

Spotty storms will still be possible on Monday, but the overall coverage of rainfall should be less than what we had over the weekend. It will be hot and humid again with highs in the 90s.

Rain chances decrease even more from Tuesday through Thursday as high pressure builds overhead. With more sunshine, temperatures will soar into the upper 90s and feels like temperatures could approach 105 in some areas. Stay cool!…
