(The Center Square) — Last week, the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office welcomed seven new deputies, and this coming Saturday, they are looking to welcome more with a Corrections Deputy Career Fair.
Officials have discussed how overcrowded the Caddo Correctional Center is for months. The most recent reports from Chief Administrative Officer Erica Bryant show the correctional center had 1,493 inmates. The maximum capacity is 1,500.
