SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) –
A couple of showers will be spread out across the ArkLaTex for the afternoon hours after having a partly cloudy, dry morning. A few more of these showers will be focused in the southern half of the region, but anyone can still see a shower overall. Today’s storms do not hold a severe weather threat. High temperatures get into the mid 90’s after starting the morning in the 70’s.
More numerous and scattered storms will be around for Saturday in the first half of the weekend especially in the afternoon. A stray shower or two especially in the southern half of the ArkLaTex can be found still for Sunday, but the 2nd half of the weekend looks a lot better than the 1st half. None of these storms should provide a severe weather threat. High temperatures drop a little down into the lower 90’s for Saturday before ramping back up into the mid to upper 90’s for Sunday…
