BOSSIER CITY, La. — Bossier City has issued a boil advisory for a section of it’s water system after an emergency water main break. The advisory affects water customers and businesses on the east side of Hamilton Road, between Barksdale Boulevard and Cox Street.
The eight-inch water main experienced a “blow out” around 11 a.m. today at the corner of Hamilton Road and Martin Lane.
Affected customers are advised to boil their water for one minute before consumption until the advisory is lifted. This applies only to water used for drinking, cooking, or brushing teeth…
