It gets bigger and bigger every year…Halloween might be the second biggest holiday in America now. Playing out like The Nightmare Before Christmas in real life, the race is essentially down to Halloween and Christmas. And Santa better watch out, because Jack Skellington is right on his heels.
In Shreveport and Bossier City, Halloween is following the trend. There’s big business in spooky season. By mid-July there were retail stores in the Shreveport-Bossier area that had a Code Orange. For the uninitiated, Code Orange is the term for when Halloween decorations first arrive in stores.
But the big one…the mecca of Halloween stores, is Spirit Halloween.
