Louisiana Film Prize announces Top 20; winner can qualify for an Oscar Award

A ribbon-cutting ceremony for Comfort Cove took place on Saturday, August 8. Comfort Cove is one of three businesses that the Shreveport-Bossier African American Chamber of Commerce (SBAACC) highlighted last month. In addition to being Black-owned, the day care center is also owned and operated by two women, Tiffany Oneal and Dr. Letatia Vance.

“This is an excellent choice for the caregiver, who needs a break, and they want to know that they’re loved one is safe. That their loved one is taken care of and they’re able to be in a safe environment with other individuals and be engaged,” said Oneal.

Comfort Cove adult day care provides rehabilitation and activities such as arts and crafts, exercise, mental stimulation, and more.
