Shreveport is competing against 99 other U.S. cities for $120,000 for free outdoor music concerts.
The Levitt Foundation is giving the grants to fund music for communities, and the Shreveport proposal was submitted by SRAC. The $120,000 would pay for 10 free concerts in Caddo Common Park in downtown Shreveport for 3 years, for a total of 30 free, live, professional music concerts.
