What was a pretty quiet Sunday afternoon in Bossier City exploded into a loud, and violent, storm. But not one that lasted long.
Severe Thunderstorm Hits Bossier City With Hail
Just after 6:30pm on Sunday, September 21st, the National Weather Service in Shreveport issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Caddo and Bossier Parishes. The area included stretched from Downtown Shreveport northeast through Bossier City, into Benton, with the area ending just south of Plain Dealing.
The storm pushed into Bossier City just a few minutes later, and brought a large amount of fast paced hail.
