Shreveport set to receive $400k grant to fight homelessness

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The City of Shreveport is being awarded a major grant to provide homes for the local homeless population.

The city is set to accept a two-year $400,000 grant from Bloomberg Philanthropies to build modular housing units to support the area’s homeless citizens and families.
