Addison Rae’s darkest role yet, starring in Netflix’s new true-crime nightmare

SHREVEPORT, La.(KTAL/KMSS) – With Halloween just around the corner, Louisiana’s own Addison Rae is back on screens in a role that’s giving audiences chills. The Shreveport-area actress stars in Monster: The Ed Gein Story.

Rae, who attended Calvary Baptist Academy in Shreveport, plays Evelyn Hartley, a teenage babysitter whose disappearance becomes one of the show’s most haunting storylines.

The series takes on a dramatized take on the disturbing real-life crimes of Ed Gein, the 1950s Wisconsin killer who allegedly inspired horror icons like Norman Bates (Psycho) and Leatherface (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre).
