SHREVEPORT, La. — The Shreveport Police Department is breaking ground on its new East Substation today at the intersection of St. Vincent Avenue and East 70th Street.
The new facility will serve as home to SPD Area 2 police officers and command staff. It is funded through the 2021 bond proposal; a project city leaders say represents the community’s ongoing investment in public safety.
