Shreveport couple goes all out for Halloween for the 23rd year

SHREVEPORT, La. – Joe and Bitsy Smith spent $1,100 on candy this year and are preparing for another night of Halloween excitement. They expect droves of children to come through their neighborhood, eager for treats and fun.

For the 23rd year, the Broadmoor couple is going all out, decorating their home with ghosts, goblins, and pirates to delight trick-or-treaters. Their festive spirit has turned into a local tradition, drawing families from across the community to experience the Smiths’ legendary Halloween display.
