SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – A Shreveport restaurant and the First Responder Support Team are working together to raise funds for military families in need.
On Nov. 2, the First Responder Support Team (FRST) is hosting a fundraiser to help military members on Barksdale Air Force Base who are facing financial difficulties due to not being paid during the government shutdown.
Shreveport restaurant, Jack’s Bar-B-Q, 1301 North Market Street, will be selling chicken quarter plates with chips and a drink for $10 on Sunday, Nov. 2nd, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All proceeds will go to military families in the community who are struggling…
