We all knew the wait was tough, but the owner, Toby Pilgrim, faced an incredible uphill battle behind the scenes. He recently shared that the renovation process was a total nightmare, requiring him to change contractors mid-project. The previous crew left him with serious concerns and errors that Toby and his team had to work tirelessly to fix and bring up to code.
Honestly, his dedication is an understatement. To say he battled for four years just to bring back this food shows the sheer passion Toby has for the Shreveport community.
The New Look: Edgy Western Vibe
The not-so-secret announcement hit the Country Tavern Facebook page, and I had to go check it out immediately to make sure I wasn’t dreaming! The new location is up and running, and it has a truly unique look. It definitely reminds you of the old spot, but with this great new edgy Western vibe that makes you love the entire atmosphere. The expansion is wonderful, and the whole place feels ready for a new era.
