BOSSIER CITY, La. – Military members and their families are receiving a helping hand from Bossier Parish students. The Airman’s Attic was replenished this week with food and other essential items.
Students, staff, and members of the Bossier Parish School Board presented the large donation at the Bossier Instructional Center. The effort marks the culmination of the district’s 11th annual Day of Service.
The fundraising drive was organized in partnership with the United Way of Northwest Louisiana. The Bossier Sheriff’s Office also contributed to the cause, donating 182 cases of canned goods.
