SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Salvation Army of Northwest Louisiana is getting into the Christmas spirit with an angel day at the Walmart on Bert Kouns to support their Angel Tree program.
In this program, hundreds of kids are registered by their guardians who need a little help so they can receive a gift from those willing to make their Christmas a little brighter.
Shoppers had the opportunity to stop by, select an Angel tag, and shop for gifts right on the spot. Development Director Julie Allen says the kids don’t ask for much, just something to remember a good Christmas…
