Monkhouse Drive Revitalization Project announced

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – In an announcement today at the entrance of Shreveport Regional Airport, city leaders shared plans for the Monkhouse Drive Revitalization Project.

“The heart of this initiative is our efforts in this community, in this city, to prevent violence before it happens. To protect our children, to protect our neighborhoods, and to restore trust between law enforcement and this community,” said Caddo Parish Sheriff Henry Whitehorn.

In collaboration with Building our Region’s Future (BRF) and the Committee of 100, a donation of $60,000 was announced to help install security cameras along Monkhouse Drive.
