SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS ) — The Shreveport Fire Department responded on Saturday, November 22, 2025, to a structure fire at the Lakeside Recreational Center golf course on Milam Street after reports of heavy smoke coming from the clubhouse and pro shop.
According to a news release, crews were dispatched at 9:15 a.m. on November 22, 2025. Engine 4 arrived moments later to find flames and heavy smoke showing from the building. Firefighters launched an immediate offensive attack to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby facilities. The blaze was brought under control at 9:29 a.m.
All recreational activities at the center were temporarily paused while crews checked the area for safety. No injuries were reported among visitors or fire personnel…
