SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – I am thankful for the weather today as mostly sunny skies will be spread throughout the ArkLaTex. There is no chance for any storms for any spot around the region. High temperatures will be in the upper 50s and lower 60s for the afternoon. This morning does start off colder though in the upper 30s and lower 40s.
Cloud cover returns for Black Friday with mostly cloudy skies, especially building more in the afternoon hours. Despite this, we should maintain dry conditions through this day. High temperatures stay put in the upper 50s and lower 60s. The morning starts off similar too in the upper 30s and lower 40s.
Our next round of scattered storms looks into the ArkLaTex on Saturday. I am expecting a pretty rainy day with at least 2 rounds of thunderstorms, one in the morning hours and the other in the nighttime hours. Isolated storms are expected to linger throughout the day too. The severe weather threat should be low with this system. There might be a slim chance for a little flash flooding in some spots too…
