Cool Black Friday with mostly cloudy skies

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – We start off the morning with partly cloudy skies, but the cloud cover is expected to build and grow as the day goes along leading to cloudy skies tonight. We should maintain dry conditions and no drops of rain at all throughout all of the daytime hours before getting a few showers across east TX late tonight. High temperatures get into the upper 50s and lower 60s for the afternoon. This morning though is starting off colder in the 30s.

Widespread storms are ahead throughout Saturday. It starts with the first round of scattered storms hitting the overnight and early morning hours of Saturday. Storms then continue to hang around through the entire day and even nighttime hours. We should finally dry up everywhere around the ArkLaTex once we get into the late-night hours. There is a slim chance for these storms to have hail, strong winds, and flash flooding. High temperatures range from the upper 40s in the northern edge of the ArkLaTex to the upper 60s in the southern edge. The morning should be warmer in the 40s.

Sunday is the better day of the weekend with partly cloudy skies and dry conditions. High temperatures will be much cooler once getting into the mid 40s to lower 50s for the afternoon. The morning will be colder in the 30s…
