SHREVEPORT, La. — Shreveport police have arrested a man they say was identified as the gunman who shot a man in both legs earlier this month.
Aderius Benton, known as A.D., is charged with attempted second-degree murder.
Police said the shooting happened just before 8 p.m. Dec. 1 at 740 Highland Square. Officers found a man lying in the road suffering from two gunshots to his lower body. They applied tourniquets to both legs until Shreveport fire personnel arrived and took the man to the hospital…
