SHREVEPORT, La. — Card collectors and dealers from across the country are set to converge on Shreveport during the first week of the new year, and for the first time, the Shreveport Card Show will be held at the Shreveport Convention Center.
Its organizer say the move reflects the explosive growth in trading card interest nationwide. What began as a modest show with about 30 vendor tables has expanded to more than 300 tables this year — mirroring the booming popularity of sports cards and collectibles.
