BENTON, La. — Deputies, educators and volunteers spent Tuesday morning delivering hundreds of meals to families in need as part of the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office’s annual Spirit of Christmas food giveaway.
The sheriff’s office, partnering with Bossier Parish Schools, local Brookshire’s stores, community businesses and volunteers, delivered 300 boxes of food to elderly, shut-in and financially struggling residents across the parish.
