SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Looking to buy your first home? A new partnership in Shreveport will provide homeownership opportunities for residents with lower incomes.
The City of Shreveport Department of Community Development named Catholic Charities of North Louisiana as its official partner in the Homebuyer’s Assistance Program Participation Initiative (HAPPI).
Through the partnership, Catholic Charities will help the city identify HAPPI-eligible homes, promote the program with HAPPI-approved lenders and realtors, and continue to offer the required First-Time Homebuyers Classes, empowering more residents of Shreveport to become homeowners…
